ROBERT BURNS As the president of Canpro Global Services Inc. and the Canpro Global Group of Companies, Robert brings over 25 years of real world experience in human and organizational safety, business continuity, risk mitigation and security. Robert’s primary responsibilities include the overall leadership, over-sight, and strategic direction of Canpro Global, and the company’s domestic and foreign relationships. Robert's experience includes risk assessments, threat management, investigations and security consulting, and increasing human safety through preventive, pro-active and insightful solutions. Global and domestic clients include governments and related Justice Branches, international energy companies, and the international mining sector. He has provided services locally, nationally, and internationally, and oversees operations and projects in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America, South America, Central and North Africa, the Gulf states, and the Middle East, under extreme situations for human safety, business continuity, and crisis concerns. Robert’s past projects include the development of global security plans for international companies in the petro-chemical and extractive industries, some of which are crime and terror ridden, and over-seeing the safety of several executive management teams and their families from major corporations. He has consulted on travel safety and procedures, country geo-political profiles and assessments, threat risk assessments, physical security and training to multi-national organizations operating in high-risk locations. Threats, risks, and challenges include corporate and personal concerns for terrorism, organized crime, kidnap and ransom, extortion, corruption, and lawlessness. Mr. Burns is a member of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators, and ASIS International, the world’s largest association for security professionals. Robert has testified as an expert witness including the Air India Inquiry in Ottawa, as the outside expert on witness protection and personal security. |

KEN CAHOON Ken Cahoon has been with Canpro Global since 1990. He started his career as a Licensed Investigator performing investigations for Local and National clients. He has presented evidence in all levels of criminal and civil court and regularly speaks to insurance, legal and corporate clients on the use of investigations and privacy issues. In 2002 Ken co-founded Canpro's pre-employment screening division and is currently the Managing Partner of Canpro HRservices Inc. which provides clients with pre-screening services, an ethics reporting line, drug detection services and HR consulting. He serves on the Board of Directors at Canpro and leads Canpro's Business Development team. Ken was a Director with the Private Investigators Association of BC. Currently, he is a Canadian liaison for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners, Canadian Regional Director of the Council of International Investigators, and sits on the board of Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers. Ken is a certified fraud examiner and a member of NABPS, CII and WAD. He resides in Vancouver, BC with his wife and two children. |

KEVIN CAHOON CII
Kevin Cahoon has 25 years of experience in business management and senior financial roles within the Private Investigation and Security Industries. Prior to joining FBIG, Kevin worked for Japan Camera Centre Ltd. managing three of their retail operations. Kevin is a current member of the Council of International Investigators, Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units, California Association of Licensed Investigators, and the Private Investigators Association of BC. Kevin recently completed a 2 year term as a board member of the Private Investigators Association of BC. |

SHIRLEY L. BURNS Shirley has been dedicated to the development of Canpro Global Services Inc. since the beginning of her career in the investigations industry over 20 years ago. She is a Managing Partner and her primary focus is within our Investigations Division as the Division Manager for the Insurance and Surveillance component. Shirley leads a team of over 50 experienced licensed, professionals in the Insurance and Surveillance Division covering all regions of Alberta and British Columbia. This team supplies litigation support within the legal community and assists with investigating both civil and criminal matters. The team is well versed in the insurance arena and supply a strategic approach to investigating claims with potential fraud. Her team specializes and has been involved with many high exposure, complex claims, providing solutions and obtaining collateral evidence to assist in minimizing settlement costs. This team also supplies solutions for corporate clients requiring support in Human Resources concerns; including unaccountable absenteeism, theft of time, internal theft, disgruntled employee issues, drug related concerns and pre-employment checks. Providing a professional investigative strategy and solutions to the insurance, corporate & legal community, as well as government agencies and private individuals. Dedicated and committed to setting the standard of professionalism and integrity within the industry. Shirley is recognized as a highly respected investigator and was selected to represent her industry on the Private Investigators and Security Act Advisory Board. She has been acknowledged with the President’s medal for her contributions as a Director on the board of the Private Investigators Association of British Columbia and a member within the British Columbia Crime Prevention Association. Shirley continues to add to her knowledge by attending and being involved with a variety of professional development programs. In her career as an investigator, Shirley has accumulated a very large network of business associates and over the years has worked in conjunction with law enforcement agencies, crown counsels, and the legal community. This has provided her with very good working knowledge of the justice system in general. Her previous employment as an Immigration Officer has complimented her role within Canpro Global Services Inc. |

MATT HENSCHEL Matt Henschel has been licensed in the private investigation and security industry for 19 years. Matt currently sits on the Board of Directors where he oversees Strategic Management and Senior Leader Coordination, and at an operational level is also the Director responsible for BC Regional Operations, a position through which he ensures Canpro Global maintains core service competence in every area of British Columbia. His experience is primarily rooted in field operations. From 1989 to 1995, Matt performed security services, close protection, undercover operations and surveillance assignments. Having excelled as an operative, he moved into leadership roles, beginning with Managing a 40 person security team for the Workers’ Compensation Board. In 1995 Matt moved to a surveillance Team Leader position where he oversaw surveillance personnel focused on insurance and criminal investigations in the Vancouver area. In 2001 Matt moved from being a manager to a company Director, where he was charged with overseeing Field Operations at a corporate level. This position found him coordinating the activities of a 25 member field investigations/surveillance team, modifying and developing the corporate surveillance program, staffing, personnel development, and writing all related policy, procedure and training manuals. In 2003, Matt created the Protection Services Division, a select program dedicated to addressing violence in the workplace issues throughout British Columbia. This endeavor included recruitment, training staff in confrontation management and close protection strategy, overseeing staff deployment and managing project strategy. In 2005 Matt moved to the Director, Regional Operations position for BC. Over his years of service, Matt has developed a highly regarded management portfolio with clients and coworkers based on his ability, ethics and sense of fairness. Matt has dedicated himself to law enforcement, military and private sector research through which he continually upgrades his unique approach to client service, team development and project methodology. He has conducted over 3,500 investigation and protection assignments on behalf of private corporations, Crown corporations, the National Hockey League, religious institutions and various levels of government. He is licensed through the British Columbia Attorney General's office as a Provincial Security Consultant. His post-secondary education lies in criminology, has training in self defense, force options and confrontation management, and remains current in the study of humanities, ethics, discipline and legal liability. He has also served as a Director with the Private Investigator’s Association of British Columbia and as an active volunteer resource to the Board of Directors for the Protect Our Children Foundation. |
